END GERRYMANDERING!
I went to the Fair Districts PA presentation of “LET’S END GERRYMANDERING!” at Atonement Church in Carnegie on Sunday.
The presentation was EXCELLENT! The speaker was very well informed, passionate and articulate. The audience was equal to her and strongly engaged! North Carolina’s turn around on radical voting districts should be a huge encouragement.
BUT, court battles take TIME and MONEY. Fair Districts has a cheaper, faster, solid plan to change the PA Constitution that is worth serious support! Best of all, it appeals to both Dems and Republicans!
All of us can help in one way or another. Volunteers do the speaking presentations, hand out flyers, print up materials, post to websites, etc. etc.
FIRST OF ALL, the Dem Committee could SPONSOR A POWERFUL! PRESENTATION!
