Empowering Voters to Elect Democrats
We welcome Carnegie residents who are registered Democrats to join us as Friends of the Committee: volunteering for short-term projects to assist precinct organizers with phonebanking, canvassing, social media, and greeting voters at the polls.
We have openings for elected or appointed Committee Members that we would love to fill. These are opportunities for Friends of the Committee who have worked with us for at least six months, and who are ready to commit to a four-year term as leaders for their precincts. We are looking for people who care about our community, and who enjoy reaching out to neighbors to inform them about candidates and ballot issues.
We especially welcome Gen Z, Gen X, and Millenials. It’s time for the next generation of activists and leaders to step up to the plate. It’s your future, and we are here to support you!
Our vital community service includes: getting out the vote every year in spring and fall, and assisting with voter registration and applications for mail-in ballots. We also conduct informal surveys of voters in our precincts at least once per year to document their concerns and pass those concerns on to candidates seeking endorsement and votes.
If you are ready to roll up your sleeves & work with us to help preserve our democracy, please contact:
