- Keep your voter registration current, and vote in every election.
- Be informed about issues and candidates on the ballot in upcoming elections.
- Talk with family and friends about critical issues of concern for our community, our state,
and our nation: climate change, gun violence, poverty, racism, underfunded public schools. - Attend public meetings: Carnegie Borough Council, Carlynton School Board.
- Pick an issue that is near and dear to your heart. Do some research, and then write a letter to the editor of your favorite newspaper.
- Communicate both praise and concerns to our elected officials.
- Volunteer to support our party and/or our candidates.
- Make a donation to your favorite candidate’s campaign, or Allegheny County Democratic Committee which promotes our Democratic Party values.
- Make participating in our democracy by voting a family value. Bring your kids right into the voting booth with you. Make sure all eligible family members are registered to vote. Then go to the polls together.
- Rise above partisan bickering and focus on: what we all have in common, what supports the common good. And work with family and friends to build a better future for all of us.
